Ayah-Evelyn Yisrael DPM BSc(Hons) FHP, focuses her practice on high quality treatment of foot and ankle disorders, Diabetic and all foot issues with special interest in the latest Diabetic Ulcer treatments, Stroke Prevention/Rehabilitation, feet diagnostics and pain therapy, and she has been in practice since 2020.

Foot pain is never normal, the average person walks 8,000-10,000 steps a day, this can cause wear and tear in the 26 bones and 8000 nerves in our feet.

Women are more prone to certain types of foot problems, mainly due to choice of footwear, with narrow-fitting shoes tending to squeeze the toes and high heels potentially leading to arch and ankle problems.  Our feet bears the brunt of the entire body’s weight, when your feet ache, your entire body aches! With proper diagnosis and treatment, most foot and ankle problems can be treated successfully.

We are a full-service podiatry practice that offers high quality patient care, helping people deal with a range of mobility issues, relieve pain and treat infections of the feet and lower legs. Shockwave Therapy

Shockwave is a procedure where sound waves of energy are passed through the skin to the injured part of the body using a special device. The shockwaves are mechanical and not electric and work by increasing blood flow to the injured area. This accelerates the body’s healing process. The ESWT application lasts about 5 minutes to deliver the shockwave energy and you must attend for 3 sessions over 3 consecutive weeks.
